Aloha! Thank you so much for visiting my website and checking out my photography! Here is a little bit about me! I was born in Upstate NY, and now live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I did my internship for college here and immediately fell in love with the beauty the Big Island has to offer. Since then I have made the Island my home and everyday just keeps on getting better! I love a good adventure and getting my blood pumping! I also LOVE getting creative; using my creativity to paint, write, and take photos since a very young age. The Big Island has only helped me thrive.
I earned her bachelors degree and currently write for Soulflower magazine, while taking photos of anything and everything I find beautiful, interesting, or captivating (which is almost everything!). I have a special place in my heart for nature and animals and love using natural light to capture their beauty. In the past few years I have discovered that I love capturing and interacting with human subjects as well, I love helping to create memories for a life time; watching people laugh and interact with each other during these shoots has been awesome. I am helping them create positive and memorable experiences, but they are doing the same for me! Its a win win!
Hannah C’s Photography was created when more and more people were coming to me to take photos for them, so starting the business came out of necessity more than anything. Since its creation my love of photography has only grown, as I learn more about different techniques and styles, as well as more about myself.
Something I noticed that sets me a part from other photographers is my ability to find the interesting in what most would find ordinary. I have an eye for beauty and composition that most people would just pass by.
I love to travel and have traveled all over the United States, and have been to every state except Alaska (I can’t wait to go!). My photos take place all over the U.S, but mostly in Hawaii. I am adventurous, outgoing, and down to earth. I have a very relaxed approach to my photo shoots and have been known to spread that comfortability to my clients. Being in front of the camera can be stressful for most, so lets just have fun with it instead!
Besides taking photos and traveling, I love to drink black coffee, sing karaoke, do watercolor paintings, eat pizza, play with the most beautiful dog ever; my pup Luna, and recycle everything! Most importantly, I am always looking for new ideas and experiences, so don’t hesitate to contact me with questions, comments, or suggestions!
I look forward to hearing from you, Mahalo!
